Earlier this week, our campaign noted that Harper Peterson voted against (in H.B. 966), funding the “Storm Damage Mitigation Fund” -- which Michael Lee created with Senators Brown and Rabon back in 2017 to restore our beaches and fund other projects that keep us safer during hurricane season!
Since some folks had questions about the Fund, we thought we’d share a quick explainer on the Mitigation Fund for folks -- like a certain current State Senator -- who don't understand it! See our video, below:
