North Carolina was chosen as “America’s Top State for Business” by CNBC yesterday. Last year our economy grew by 6.7% and our job growth was 3.6%. This is the culmination of all the economic and tax reforms that I have supported in the NC Senate.
Our state has been recognized as the nation’s strongest economy. We have spent your tax dollars responsibly while cutting taxes and supported businesses by eliminating duplicative and overburdensome regulations. We have a strong, well-educated workforce because of our incredible Community College and University Systems.
We have the tax policy, the workforce and the incentives to keep growing and make our economy even stronger. I am committed to keeping North Carolina the best state in the nation to start a business and raise a family.
