Our Lee for NC Campaign Begins!

I wanted to let you know that I’m running for North Carolina Senate. I hope that I can count on your support and your vote.

I am excited to launch our Lee for NC campaign this year. How could I not be? Thanks to Republican leadership at the local, State and national level, our economy is strong, and unemployment is at an all-time low.

As State Senator for New Hanover County from 2014 to 2018, I worked hard to:

• Triple film incentives to reinvigorate our film industry, and make sure those incentives would renew year-after-year;

• Bring millions of dollars in extra disaster relief to our region;

• Champion education rights for all school children;

• Reduce State taxes for 99% of North Carolinians; and

• Write and sponsor North Carolina’s innovative and now nationally recognized Clean Water Act.

I was proud to help our County grow stronger, and I was humbled and honored when NCFREE, North Carolina’s premier nonpartisan legislative research group, ranked me as one of the top 7 most effective State Senators in North Carolina.

There is more work to do for our County, and my record shows that I can get it done.
