Sen. Michael Lee’s Campaign Files a Complaint with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department to open an Investigation into Coordinated Sign Theft
Wilmington, N.C. - Today, our campaign filed a complaint with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office to open an investigation into the theft of our campaign signs. I realize that isolated incidents of sign theft happen in every campaign. This year though, there appears to be a coordinated effort to steal almost every sign in the County. We have seen evidence throughout this campaign that there is no boundary my opposition will not cross. This is yet another example. I call on my opponent to condemn the actions of her supporters.
